well it seems like you don't like her anymore. if that's the case just tell her you have no more feelings for her but you would like to stay friends. simple as that

that's the problem, i do still like her, but i think she may have said that simply because the guy she had a crush on liked another girl, and my offer was already on the table, soz i should of explained my question better )=
