100% NO!!! To deny the existence of spirits would be to deny the existence of the holy spirit sent by Christ as a comforter in his absence from earth. Read about the ascension! Also, the spirit of the prophet Samuel was summoned back to earth after his death. If you read of Samuel, you'll also find that directly after his death King Saul ordered all the mediums and spiritists to leave Israel after Samuel died. Coincidence... no!

∙ 13y agoNo, ghosts are spirits. Spirits are either angels or demons. Since angels reside in heaven, the spirits on Earth are from another realm.
Satan was once an angel who God threw out of Heaven.
Satan was given free reign on this Earth.
The other angels who were thrown out of heaven with Satan are Demons.
So, the ghosts or spirits we encounter here on Earth are really the exiled angels, controlled by Satan.
No "ghost" is good...because they are actually Demons serving Satan.
AnswerI guess not. The Bible have it's Holy Ghost and the only unforgivable sin in the Bible is to blaspheme the Holy Ghost.No I don't think it is. But I do believe there are good ghosts. Spirits that haven't found the light yet, or have something they need to do on Earth before they go to heaven. There are Demons, but not all spirits are bad. Some could have gotten thrown out of heaven, or some could have never made it.

∙ 13y agoVery much so - as the 'spiritual' world is very much part of Christ's teaching. In many cases he talks of spiritual things - and even casts out evil spirits. We are told that God himself is 'spirit' RONG HE IS AN ANGEL HES NOT REALLY AND ANGEL OUR SPIRIT HES GOD

∙ 13y agoIt is traditional for Christians to believe in demons, and in fact demons play an important part in the gospel accounts. Christian teachings are ambivalent about ghosts, which are presumably the souls of the departed, because souls are supposed to go to heaven or hell. Nevertheless it would probably not be considered a sin to believe in ghosts and demons.
However, asking whether it is OK to believe in ghosts and demons can go beyond whether such belief is a sin, and to encompass whether a reasonable person, who happens to be a Christian, ought to believe in ghosts and demons. The answer must be 'no', simply because they do not exist.

As a person who neither believes in ghosts and spirits nor God, I can still see it as a rational possibility to believe in ghosts and spirits but not God - just as it is rationally possible to believe in God but not ghosts and perhaps not even spirits. It is also possible to believe in ghosts and spirits as well as other gods, but not the abrahamic God. It is up to you what you believe, as long as you can rationalise your own beliefs and do no harm to others. Yes, you can believe in Ghosts (or spirits) and not of god. I have had experienced with Ghost [Energy] but not of a god.
