Do not try this at home. Done it with a 9 v battery, that hurts.

My mother once stuck a bobby pin in an outlet when she was a child, the bobby pin EXPLODED and the shock she received was enough to cause a muscle spasm in her arm that threw her all the way to the opposite side of the room!

Never even think of touching an outlet with your tongue!

This scenario would be very hard to do. Consider the size of a human tongue as compared to the size of the contact blades on a plug cap. The tongue would have to penetrate at least 1/2 inch into the hot side of the receptacle which is the smaller of the two blade openings. To receive a shock the tongue would have to also penetrate the neutral side slot, ground pin slot at the same time or touch the screw that holds the cover plate on to the receptacle. The chances of being able to stick their tongue into a receptacle exactly as the question asks, slim and none.

What is the electrical voltage from the house outlet to the power supply?

The average voltage a house outlet will give actually depends on how far of a distance the house is from a transformer on the pole. If the house is fairly close to the transformer, it will probably give around 120 volts. However, if the house is a bit far from the transformer, it will probably give around 107 volts.

How do you convert 230v single phase stove from England to 220v Canadian voltage?

You should be able to use it as is (assuming the plug matches your outlet). It will just run a little bit cooler at 220 volts vs. 230 volts.

What is the difference between an open circuit and an open aev?

This is copied from Section 6.11, Question 8 in "Modern Refrigeration and Air Conditioning." The answer is (B), "The open circuit prevents flow. The open AEV allows flow to occur." Although a bit obscure, the answer is correct because, within the context of an electrical circuit, an "open circuit" (i.e. disconnected wire) would prevent the flow of electrical current. Within the context of a refrigeration circuit, an open AEV (automatic expansion valve) would permit the flow of refrigerant into an evaporator coil to provide cooling.

How do you install c plus plus 64bits?

The documentation that came with your implementation will tell you how to go about installing it, but other than having a 64-bit machine with a 64-bit operating system there are no special requirements for installing 64-bit C++. You install it just as you would the 32-bit version.

Would a 64Bit processor work with a 32Bit operating system?

It can do but it is really the other way around. A 32-bit operating system can work with a 64-bit processor. However, if the processor doesn't have a "soft" switching mode, you will have to manually switch the 64-bit processor to 32-bit mode via the CMOS setup. Ideally you should install a 64-bit operating system and leave the processor in 64-bit mode. This will then allow you to run 32-bit programs and 64-bit programs side-by-side.

What drill bit do you use to make hole in electrical outlet box?

If you are using proper authorised outlet boxes, they come with all the holes pre-cut. Holes to mount wire clamps and holes for mounting screws. If you don't use these you are not 'to code'

What energy transformations in a tv?

A television receiver uses electrical energy, either from batteries or from the electrical outlet it's plugged into, and converts that energy into a tiny bit of light energy, a moderate amount of sound energy, and a considerable amount of heat energy.

What would cause a plug to blow off the outlet pipe on a 2003 Lincoln ls v8?

The coolant outlet pipe breaks inside bypassing the thermostat. It just happened to mine. I tore it apart and was amazed at the plastic parts that failed. I learned a bit more about it on a Lincoln LS forum and it seems quite common. Replace the coolant outlet pipe assembly along with your thermostat.

What is the meaning of the phrase beside myself mean?

There is an electrical power outlet in the rear of your 2003 trail blazer can this outlet be use to run an electric winch?

You can use any of the electrical outlets in your 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer to power a 12 volt electric winch. Be sure to keep your motor running when running the winch. Winches are a big drain on the battery. You may even need to accelerate a bit while if the winch is pulling very hard. Recently Westin Automotive introduced a new line of winches. These winches were formerly marketed as T-Max Winches. You can check this new product line out at WestinWinches.com.

What is everybody's reaction when Fred weasly dies?

Can you change a two prong outlet to a one prong and one switch outlet?

This answer will be treated cautiously because your question shows a lack of knowledge of residential electrical systems. By "two prong", you are probably referring to a duplex electrical outlet, the standard "two-plug" arrangement found in North American homes, which is actually a 6-prong outlet - a live, neutral and ground "prong" on each of the two outlets. In any case, yes you can change one half of the outlet to "switched' without changing the other half. There is a connecting copper buss on each side of the duplex that connects the top half with the bottom half. This is designed in such a way that the buss can be clipped with electrical wire cutters (after ensuring that you have turned off the breaker or pulled the fuse to that circuit) to separate the two halves. You need only clip the "live" side, and can leave the neutral side connected. This will essentially allow you to feed each half with a separate supply, one of which can be live all the time, while the other half is switched. To wire up the switch, you will probably need a bit more knowledge.

How reduce insanity by shock treatment?

I have never heard of someone getting shock treatment to induce insanity but to reduce depression. one flew over the coco's nest with jack Nicholson & Louise fletcher was just a bit inaccurate in the things that shock treatment were done for.

What is the purpose in an electrical circuit of steppers?

Steppers are small devices in electrical circuits, which move "bit by bit" or "step by step"- hence their name. They can be found in a large array of circuits and convert electric pulses into small stepping movements.

Is a shoe a conductor?

Clearly you are asking about the insulation strength of a shoe. What kind - wet or dry? If the shoe is wet it will conduct enough electricity to shock your foota tiny little bit if you put your foot in it. But if it is not wet the only thing that could shock your foot while in it would be something like a lightning bolt.
