First off, I'd recommend NOT repiercing it, as there are many body piercings that are in very germ-laden spots. However, if you're absolutely bent on doing so, wait until the infection has cleared up entirely and the area is healed. I always got told that if it gets infected not to take it out because the infection can get trapped underneath the skin. You should have left it in and went to the drs to get antibiotics to clear it up. A lot of times infection can be cleared up with a one week antibiotic regimen, however, to avoid adding a problem onto an existing problem, wait 2-3 months after you have finished your antibiotics before you get it re-pierced.
you can get that from any piercing or cut if it gets infected that's why its so important to take really good care of it
The real answer is that if it gets infected, YOU WILL KNOW! :-)
Infection really depends on how you take care of your piercing. But, I'd say that some piercings in the pubic/genital area would be more susceptible to infection.
Ideally, you should go to a piercing parlor. From one man to another, you do not want to do this at home. Its dangerous if it gets infected and you really should considering finding a licensed piercer.
I would say its getting infected. I had a nostril piercing and it gets infected, get a wet towel but it has to be hot and put it on there almost every day ........trust me it works The chances are good that the nostril screw in your piercing is made of Silver and not Surgical Stainless Steel. Silver oxidizes and this tarnishing will actually darken the tissue around the piercing. Changing the jewellery to proper surgical stainless steel body jewellery will resolve the tarnishing issue. Over time with daily washing the darkness around the piercing will wear off and you should be fine.
Keep the piercing in and salt soak 15 minutes twice aday and clean four to five times aday, if it gets worse ameadiently go to the docters. Don't bother about anything else go to the docters!! I carn't express that enough.
well considering the fact that your mouth has nothing to do with your baby growing in you i don't see why not. you would just have to make sure it don't get infected because that could possibly well obviously hurt the baby because if it gets infected enough it could infect the blood which could be BAD. Real professional body piercing studios will not pierce anyone who is pregnant. Anyone who will knowingly provide piercing services to someone who is pregnant is not a professional body piercer.
It is recommended that you wait at least a few weeks but you can. Indoor tanning you would have to wait longer. Just be careful is you are putting SPF or lotion on. If it gets into the piercing it could get infected and that is VERY painful.
Go see a doctor. If its really infected, they'll prescribe some antibiotics to help clear up the infection before it gets worse :)
you can get it by having a transplanted organ or blood that is infected in your body and it gets you ill and die
It should eventually. It takes from a few weeks, to a few months, for a piercing to fully heal. If your piercing isn't healing properly, or begins to ooze or bleed, you may need to to remove the piercing all together, let it heal, and then possibly try again. Once a piercing gets infected, there isn't much you can do besides take advil, wait it out, or remove it all together.
Receive it from an infected person.
