depending on the type and year yes,the newer models that are all electronic have to get a complete diagnostics check to make sure everything is in order then it's all set with a computer to make sure everything is in the proper running order.once this is done there will be no problems.
A 5.7 litre or Chevy 350 will fit as that's what the Z28 has in it, you will have to change motor mounts and all the computer wiring and computer to do it.
Yes you can! all you would need to change are the computer and possibly the wiring from under the hood and dash.
No, the trans, computer, and wiring are all different.
you shouldn't have any problems as long as all the sensors and wiring are the same or switched to new motor.
if you did not change your computer you might have to get it reset
All you need to do that swap is different motor mounts, ones that will match up to the body (1997). The motor is the same and will run but for the easiest/safest swap you should bring the ECU (the car's computer), wiring, and transmission from the 1999 donor car.
Year for year....yes. If the engine you are replacing is a V6 then it should be a fairly direct swap. May have to change computers or programming. If you are replacing a 4 cylinder it will be much more difficult as you'll have to replace all the engine wiring and computer to do it.
yes the motor will fit in the car chassis but u might have to change all the wiring harness's because i am pretty sure that, that motor is a 24 valve...but if a 16 valve came out of the 95 and ur putting a 16 valve into the 95 u shouldn't have to change the wiring harnesss
You could, but, the amount of work, would be astronomical. You would need the entire computer system from the 01, as well as the fuel system, and tranny settup. The major change took place in 2000, when they upgraded the computer systems, to accomodate the OBD 2. The newer computer systems control EVERYTHING. The newer motor will not run without it. I would take the wiring harness from the 01, as well. That will save you a ton of headaches. And, all of the dash, as it is all electronically controlled, and helps monitor all of the engine functions, via the computer. In fact, after 2000, the gas pedal does not even connect to the motor, as previously. The computer controls it. It is called "drive by wire."
As far as a direct bolt in NO. You would have to do ALOT OF MODIFYING. You would have to change the transmission,ECM /computer,fuel pump, Make the motor mounts, change the intire engine, fuel pump and transmission wiring harness. Now if you have the smarts and the MONEY you can put any motor in it that you want.In the late month of 1999 chevy REDESIGNED ALL the engines and transmissions. So anything under the year 2000 will NOT interchange with anything newer then 2000.
not at all
The blower motor wiring in an HVAC system should be connected according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure optimal performance. It is important to follow the correct wiring diagram and make sure all connections are secure to prevent any issues with the motor's operation.
