I would love to meet Blake Mycoskie, the Founder of TOMS Shoes. His youthful ambition exemplifies the spirit of entrepreneurship. He was able to change the game of consumer provision, giving away a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair sold. This initiative showed that philanthropy as a primary mission is possible in for-profit companies. With proper publicity and a genuine cause, Blake and TOMS Shoes were able to reach out to main-stream America and connect with the youth as the brand soared to impressive heights. The company is prospected to give a way it's one-millionth pair of shoes in September 2011. There is much to be learned among United States corporations about intertwining philanthropy with business, and Blake Mycoskie serves as an example for the entire country.
