In a word, Yes.I would strongly not recommend downloading pirated software. I would suggest downloading Open Office from OpenOffice.org. It has all of Microsoft's software, but it's open source (legal).
Exel works better it being from Microsoft, I have personally used both. I would recommend Exel.

I would recommend attaching data, statistics, information, and a write up on the progress of the business or company. However, it would also be recommended to attach a cover letter in front of the data, so it could give some information about what the business report is going to cover or focus on.
You would probably be best to use Microsoft Access but you could also use Microsoft Excel, particuarly if there was a lot of numerical data.
