Yes. Now I gotta know: why do this?
ok
Norco, is hydrocodone with 325mg of Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The CDL test or DOT( Dept. of Transportation) test urine for opiates among other things. If you do not have a prescription for hydrocodone, you will be flagged. I would recommend you do not take any urine test for a period of at least 5 days after your last dose of Hydrocodone. At that point, you should be clean.
anything pertaining to opiates will show up morphine -- hydrocodone---etc
They are chemically very similar, an enzyme urine test (basic preliminary test) should show urine with any of those as positive for opiates/opioids. Usually a positive test is confirmed by GC/MS which could probably differentiate hydrocodone, morphine, and oxycodone.
yes,it is an opiate what kind of oppites About ten years ago I took two Tylenol4s on a Saturday and I was pulled for a drug test the next Friday and I tested positive for opiates but I did have a RX for it so it was not a problem. Rootcanal from a dentist. I am not a Dr but I do know that Hydrocodone 10/325 (for ex) is 10mg Coedine and 325mg Tylenol. Codine has a 1/2 life of about 6 hours. So if you take one 10/325 Hydrocodone at 6am by noon only about 5mg of Codeine will be in your system. noon = 5mg 6pm = 2.5mg 12pm =1.25mg 6am the next day even less and even less and so on. That said if you take 1 hydrocodone on Monday it still might be your urine in 3 days. For me it was almost a week. A week?
I'm not sure if the test would specifically test for Hydrocodone, it would most likely test for opiates, which are in both Hydrocodone and Morphine. So in short, yes, if the drug test is testing for opiates in your system, both Hydrocodone and Morphine will cause a positive for opiates.
They Could Tell Its Not Real Urine And You Could Get In Trouble
No, but the odds that anyone tests for Darvocet is really low. yes you would test positive for propoxaphene The active ingredients in Darvocet are propoxyphene and actetamenophen a standard urine drug screen does test for that substance sorry you got your hopes up with the previous false answer
In short yes, most likely Vicodin will cause your drug test to be positive. However, the reason is not because it comes up as an Opiate. There is a separate section specifically for Hydrocodone. The reason for this being that Vicodin is not a natural occurring Opiate. It contains the semi-synthetic opiate Hydrocodone. Not -all- tests will include Hydrocodone on their test. Although, there is a very high probability that a test will include it. On a positive note, it will be out of your system within 2-4 days from the last time you used it.
The urine drug screen would be positive for opioids.
Urine is not always the same, and it varies both by diet, and by the health of the person in question. But in general, the positive ion you would be most likely to find in urine is the Na+ ion.
It depends on your method of intake. By IV it would be instantaneously, by snorting it would be almost instantaneously, and the slowest would be swallowing it which might take about 20-30 minutes. If you used at all the day you're being tested, you'll get caught. Hydrocodone also stays at detectable levels in your urine for 3-7 days after your last dose.
