It depends though. Just last night, my friend had a dream that she died, and right afterwards, she began suffocating, and, in reality, if her mother hadn't have heard her and woke her up, she'd be dead now, she knew what was going on, or, she says this, and that she simply could not awaken until her mother forced her awake. So in my eyes, I believe you can die if you die in a dream, but usually, the shock wakes you up.

You can die in your dreams but if you arent completely dead in ur dreams then you will be alive in real life but if u get shot in the head or something then you would die in real life because u died in your dream.

I don't think so because if you die in a dream its probaly because yoour brain is thinking about something scary that you just saw.

∙ 13y agoSimple answer... YES! Yes it is possible, I died in my dream once from a bike crash and I turned into a ghost/angel and I was looking over my friend and my brother. So yes it is possible to die in your dream and keep on dreaming.

In a nightmare anyone can die.. First off if you .. as in yourself die in your dream then you will die in the real world because a dream is an alternate world negative or positive that your brain creates and reacts with. So yes its possible to die but not likely from being really scared. Being scared from a dream is normal but if it consists trying sleeping with your son/daughter and comforting them and washing away their fears with positive comebacks to their negative thoughts. And remember a dream or nightmare is always influenced from the real world in one way or another.
