I dont know why I just read that they supposedly just dim over time and dont pop and go out like the incandescent bulbs. But, I just came home turned on my lights and heard two or three pops like small firecrackers and one is out now. So they say they dont but I just saw it happen.
I just changed both 2000 headlight bulbs. Locate the clips on the side of the assembly and pull up. Assembly is now loose and ready for you to install the new bulbs. Reverse to install.
