If you don't rub the swab on your gums during a saliva drug test can you pass it?

No. Bleach not only has a very distinct smell, which one could easily detect while obtaining the actual swab (which would fail you instantly before beginning the test). Also, saliva is continuously flowing from your mouth along with the proof of your drug of choice. And although bleach MIGHT clean the unwanted chemical from your mouth the moment of brushing, any time afterward would be a sure fail.

∙ 13y agoThe test only needs a little saliva. Putting it between your teeth will still give it some saliva, and you will fail/pass. Depending on if you used the drug you are being tested for within the period of time that it stays in your saliva.

∙ 14y agoNo. If it gets saliva on it at all and that sample has drugs in it you'll fail. Besides, if it's not wet enough for them they'll stick it back in your mouth.

Of course it can. The illegal drug will be absorbed by your gums - they have holes in them, you know (how do you think saliva enters the mouth?) and once in your gums, the chemicals will be absorbed into your bloodstream ... not a good situation.
