If you drink a lot of water on the day of your urine drug test your test will actually be invalid so even if it doesnt show any drugs in it they have grounds to suspect you and re-test you as they not only test for drugs but things like pH. If your urine is very watery your pH will not be in normal range thus invalid. Also a warning of drinking a lot of water can make you ill because of loss of vitamins and electrolytes. If you drink extensive amount of water over a few weeks it is possible you could die as excess water has been known to be toxic.
