Any even numbered Interstate Highway in America runs east and west. In Oklahoma, that would be I40, and I44.
Around San Francisco, Seattle, New York; on I40 just north of Albuquerque, on I90 between Great Falls and Minneapolis, on I55 south of Chicago, east of Houston; two near Miami; You just have to wander around those cities.
Its about 15-16 hours, taking I75 south to I40 east. Its located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
Takes about an hour to drive there, depending on where in Raleigh you're going to. Just go straight up I95, then take I40 west. From there, you can hit points in Raleigh directly from I40, I440, US64/264, I540, etc.
102 Miles Take I40 East towards Memphis From Brinkley take HWY 49 South to Marvell
2371 miles using I40 E
If you take I26 up to I40 and shoot I40 across, you'll go through North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, and New Mexico. If you take I85 to Atlanta and shoot across I20, you'll go through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico. Really depends on where in SC you're leaving from and where in AZ you're going.

Generally speaking, North to South use odd numbers. East to West use even numbers.
I'd say that the best way to travel would be to the west...
It depends on you route; I-44 West and I40 West= 20 hours and 50 mins., I-70 West= 21 hours and 5 mins., I-70 West and US-50 West= 21 hours and 5 mins.
