No.
If you have a felony record, you can't purchase a firearm, period. Not only in NC, but in the entire United States.
you will know when you try to buy a firearm, and a NCIC check is conducted. At that point if your record is clear you can buy, if still FLAGGED you will not be able to buy a firearm.........
No
Depends on what the assault was. In the US, conviction of any felony, or conviction of a crime of domestic violence is a bar to possessing any firearm.
A felony does not go away unless the conviction is expunged from your record by govt. officials. Because of this, it doesn't matter how long ago you were convicted of a felony, owning, purchasing, or being in possession of a firearm is illegal.
ANY felony conviction is a bar to possessing a firearm in the US.
If you are a convicted felon, that is on your record and that information can be accessed by anyone who has access to NCIC, no matter what state you are in.
No
No, even the possession of a firearm of any kinda is a felony.
IIRC, a DUI felony is a state, and not federal felony. At the moment, no - federal law prohibits anyone with a felony record from purchasing, possessing, or having access to a firearm. However, if you get yourself an attorney, it MIGHT be possible for you to have your firearms rights restored, provided it's a felony only at state, and not federal level. Bear in mind, though, that nothing is guaranteed.
Not in Colorado, nor in any other state or territory of the US.
No you can not buy or posses a gub with an expungment , what you want is called a 17b motion , this reduces your felony to a misdeameanor so you can again own a firearm legaly.
