If you get an AA degree after a BA do you still need to fulfill the general education requirements for the AA?

Answer

You shouldn't need to, as long as those general education credits have been covered by the BA, which they usually are. However, be aware that many community and independent colleges are provate for-profit institutions. It's not uncommon to make a simple certification course stretch over a semester or two with required adjunct classes; they make money with each registered class. If you think you shouldn't have to fulfill the gen. ed. requirements and can have a 4-year transcript from your accredited school, let the dean of the 2-yeart program know. He may be able to help.

Answer

That depends entirely on the requirements of the college.
