Well, if you need a brain to live because it sends messages to the organs and parts of your body to work, then yeah, you will die if you get rid of it. Highly unrecommended! you willl gie without your brain because you cant function which means...yes you will die without your brain. ========================================================== I do agree, however, it proved to be possible to live with half a brain after the other half is removed. (Kelley Green, Chase Smith for example). However, it is only possible because of the remaining hemisphere could take over the function (or some of the functions) of the missing site. Losing both hemispheres, sorry, your won't have a chance.
