Yes I had to when I went I am 23 now
The King of England and the King of Scotland were the same person. And they still are.
Scotland and England would still be countries but together they would be known as Great Britain, along with Wales.
Impossible for you to get if you don't know that the correct grammer for that question is "What is college tuition help for DC residents?" And that is still an insufficient question because "college tuition help" has the same meaning in any state. Be more specific!
No. It's back in Scotland.
Yes and lets hop it stays that way!
Because she isn't the Queen of England alone. Queen Elizabeth II is queen of the United Kingdom which is comprised of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
They have never ended their rivalry, it is still very much alive.
Scotland was not founded by England!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Scotland was a country in itself, it still is a country. Only now it is in a "union" with England, meaning they are supposedly equal partners (this now includes Wales and Northern Ireland). However, England did obviously try to take over Scotland many times and eventually forced through the Act of Union in 1707.But Scotland is a country and has been for many many hundreds of years, a long time before England and Scotland joined and made Britain. Scotland is a country. On its own. Just as much as England is a country, or France is a country, or Italy is a country, to name some random examples. Scotland was NOT founded by England!!
The Kingdom of Scotland has NOT ended!!!! It still exists. It is commonly referred to as Scotland, and is still a legal entity in itself. Two events occurred, #1 ; the union of the crown with England , by the accession of King James (I) of England and (VI) of SCotland. #2; The unions of the parliaments in the early 1700's. Whereby SCotland sent MP's to the Westminster parliament. Scotland retained its own legal system and currency. It is the above two events that might suggest that as a kingdom it ended, but no so!!!!
When Elizabeth I died in 1603, King James VI of Scotland became James I of England as well as still remaining King of Scotland, thereby uniting the two kingdoms.
Only England shares a border with Scotland.
No England's and Scotland's parliaments united in 1707. Since then there has been no English parliament.
