no The PS2 emulator works on very few games and does not include the PS2 Bio which you would also have to download from somewhere. In theory the system would work as you want, but it never has.

You need a PS2 or a PS3 with 4 USB ports from the early released models. PCs will not play the discs only files that are downloaded will work on an emulator
No they can notYes your laptop can. You would have to download an emulator though. It's illegal, but hey, what isn't these days? No it can not because there are no PS3 or Xbox 360 emulators. Emulator are not illegal, but they are difficult to use on complex systems like the PS2 or Xbox and none exist for the Xbox 360 or PS3 which are quite a bit more complex. The PS2 emulator works poorly and is still in beta stage which means it is still being developed and is called the PCSX2. A person can with a lot of time, trouble, and hard work manage to complete some of the PS2 game titles from start to finish with the Emulator. That does not mean a Laptop can even play the PS2 game if it has the emulator because it takes skill to set up the emulator and each game requires additional changes to allow it to work. They do not work from the game disk and seem more like a project for Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory to take on than someone who just wants to play a PS2 game.
It allows you to play PS2 games.
A PlayStation 2 emulator should use a disk iso file which must be mounted using a program such as Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52%. It is important to recognize that a top-notch computer tower is most likely necessary to run a PS2 emulator with satisfactory results, and a generic desktop or laptop may be insufficient to run PS2 games at a playable framerate. Also be sure to only play games on an emulator that you have ownership of.
