You need a jack and a wheel brace (wrench)
Hey Dummy, Didn't you know that after 2006, BMW did not include a spare tire, jack, and lug wrench since the cars had run-flat tires as original equipment. You just need to get a spare tire and jack since you can use your head as the wrench (lug nut head).
This enables a flat tire change with a spare tire en route.
If you don't have a jack or wheel wrench there is no way to remove the tire. Unless you can turn the holder with a pliers, wrench or socket.
Immediately pull off the road and stop. Set the parking brake on your car. Use the jack to jack up the car and change the flat tire to the spare. If you are unable to accomplish this call for help.
The owners manual will have directions as to where the jack, tire and wrench are stored in the vehicle along with the correct place to put the jack so as not to damage the vehicle.

First loosen the lug nuts just a touch, then get or find the spare tire. Now jack up the vehicle, remove the the flat tire and fit the other . Tighten all the lug nuts as much as you can alternately. Now lower the car gently and when the new tire is touching the ground firmly, re-tighten all the lug nuts again. now lower the vehicle totally and pack the jack and flat away.

How to change your own tires on a stratus. First your car needs to be parked on a flat surface to prevent rolling. Get out your vehicle tool kit. Remove your spare tire, then loosen your flat tires lug nuts, but do not completely remove. Set up your jack so your automobile does not lean. Completely remove the lug nuts. Remove the flat tire. Slip on the spare and tighten in the lug nuts. Remove jack.
At minimum: a jack, a lug wrench (for the lug nuts), and a spare tire inflated properly. Helpful but not requiredn: tire blocks, gloves, and a flashlight (depending on light conditions).
The jack should be under the spare wheel along with the combination lug wrench/jack handle, under the floor of the trunk.
