Not necessarily , it could just mean you have eaten something that produces an excess of gas. If the gas persists for more than a few hours then an over the counter gas medication might be worth a try. Ask your pharmacist for help choosing one.
More than a couple of days and it might be worth checking with your doctor for advise.
