Contrary to popular belief, after three dates you don't need to be intimate with someone you like to express affection . It's entirely possible that the guy may simply need more time to come out of his shell or carries some values that make him not want to be sexually intimate just yet. In my personal experience I was not intimate with my partner for a number of weeks - everyone has different levels of comfort when it comes to initiating intimacy. If you are worried about this you should have a chat with the guy to find out what's going on or, if you are confident that you share similar feelings, wait until he is ready to instigate intimacy himself.
