Any type of hair (natural, color treated, or permed hair) can turn slightly (or more) green when in contact with chlorine. However, there needs to be a high percentage of chlorine in the the water (like a pool) for your hair to turn green. The people most at risk for their hair turning green are blondes. However, if you are a brunette or a red head, your hair won't necessarily turn green, but your scalp probably will.
