It would most likely close up. It is still fresh and needs to have jewelry in it. You can always buy a clear retainer to put in it in the place of your normal jewelry.
It takes 6-8 weeks to heal. But it depends too, as mine take 1 month in healing and some of my friends Monroe piercing healed in 2 to 3 months.
I was thirteen when i got a monroe piercing. My mom had to take me, and my birth certificate.
About 2 weeks.
If the piercing is over a year old you can remove the Monroe piercing for several hours without fear of the piercing healing closed. Prior to a year you are taking a gamble on how your body will respond to the jewellery being out of the piercing.
It depends on how long you have had the piercing. if its new about a couple mins to an hour maybe depends on the body part you put the piercing. if you had it for a while it could take a couple days to close or a month
Shoot in to see your professional body piercer for some help, they can get the piercing fixed up right away instead of you fighting with it and possibly annoying the piercing.
If it is still a fresh, unhealed piercing, I would not leave it out for more than one hour (maximum) if you still want to keep it. When you get a piercing, your body starts working overtime to try and patch the hole that was just created in your body. Piercings at this stage can close within a half an hour, to 1-2 hours. If you like the piercing, do not leave it out for more than one hour. If the problem with it is, you need to hide it for work, school, etc., you can buy a clear retainer to put in it, rather than the surgical steel jewelry.
Do you mean that the skin had healed around the jewelry? If thats it, go to your piercer to have it removed.
Stuff shouldn't be coming out of it, just clean it very good
Whenever you go in for a Monroe piercing, the piercer will take a needle, usually either a 18-16 gauge, and pierce your lip with that. It doesn't leave a big hole at all. But, if you want to gauge your Monroe, then you could have the piercer pierce with a bigger gauged needle, or just gauge it out yourself.
Most facial piercings take anything from three to six weeks, depending on the condition of the skin and overall health.
It depends on where the piercing is. If it's in your nose then if will take a couple hours to close; if it's in your ear then probably a day or two.
