It is not possible, since pixel shader 2 is hardwared into the card. You would not be able to upgrade without changing a graphics card.
most probably the problem is with ur graphic card,it must support pixel shader 3.0 or higher.U need at least Gforce 6200/Ati Raedon X1300 in order to play the game.Even though the game recomends Gforce 6600/Raedon X1600 as minimum u can play it on 6200/X1300 without any problems. most probably the problem is with ur graphic card,it must support pixel shader 3.0 or higher.U need at least Gforce 6200/Ati Raedon X1300 in order to play the game.Even though the game recomends Gforce 6600/Raedon X1600 as minimum u can play it on 6200/X1300 without any problems.
Yes. The official video card specifications are: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

One of the only cards above 64mb that I've ever seen that supports AGP 4x. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NVIDIA-GeForce-FX5500-256MB-AGP-8x-4x-Video-card-5500_W0QQitemZ190257585474QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190257585474&_trkparms=72%3A1300%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 ^^ Is a 256mb graphics card that supports 4x and 8x AGP. I have a Nvidia GeForce FX5500 256MB 128Bit AGP and i can play: Source Engine Games(Half-Life 2, Counter Strike: Source Team Fortress 2)(Low-Medium Settings) Unreal Tournament 2003/2004 (Medium Settings) I think call of duty 2 will run on your card. They are more examples on games that can run on your card online/
tt
the 8400 is the better card
There is no 4X AGP Graphics card that has 256MB but only 128MB that's called the Nvidia Geforce4 Ti4600
Probably your best bet is amazon.com or eBay.
no.you must have shader 3 and 256mb card!sorry for my bad english.
it is a good and smooth card. i had it in a laptop and it's great aslong as you are not a hard-core gamer.if you are then go for a Nvidia GeForce 9800
Celeron D 3Ghz, 1.25mb ram, Nvidia 6200 256mb
