The greater the area, the lower the pressure. The smaller the area, the higher the pressure. I am assuming by area you mean volume. According to the Ideal Gas Law, PV=nRT, pressure and volume are inversely related. As the volume increases, the pressure will decrease and vice versa.

The boiling point is the point at which the vapor pressure of the liquid reaches atmospheric pressure. So, if you add impurities (solutes) to the pure liquid, the theory is that those molecules get in the way of the solvent molecules, and at the surface that results in a LOWER vapor pressure of the liquid. This then results in an INCREASE in the boiling point, because remember that boiling point is when vapor pressure = atmospheric pressure.
According to Boyle's Law of Pressure-Volume Relationship, an increase in the pressure of a gas will decrease it's volume. And according to Charles's Law of Temperature-Pressure Relationship, an increase in pressure causes an increase in temperature.
The pressure inside the container will increase. Pressure (P) is force(F) divided by the area(A) it hits on. If you decrease the area, you increase the pressure.
