The relation of brix to pounds per gallon is not linear so you can't really do a calculation and come up with a number. If you go to this website it has a table of all pounds per gallon for different brix levels.

Anhydrous ammonia is NH3 is GAS (at STP)!Density:NH3 (gas, at certain pressure and temperature)0.73 kg/m3 (1.013 bar at 15 °C)0.86 kg/m3 (1.013 bar at boiling point: −33.3 °C)NH3 (liquifyed gas)681.9 kg/m3 at −33.3 °C
Metric tonne is mass and a gallon is volume; they are not convertibleIf you know the weight of the chemical (liquid) per gallon - you could then convert the Metric Tonne weight to gallons. Water is 8.34 pounds or 3.78 kilograms at 62 °F (17 °C), per Gallon.
"Weight" is a number that those in the know call a "scalar" ... a number that has no direction ... which means that there's no such thing as 'horizontal' weight. The weight of a gallon of water is about 8.35 pounds. That's the force of gravity trying to pull the earth and the gallon of water together. It acts in the direction toward the center of the earth, which is the direction we call 'vertical', so there's never any part of the weight acting horizontally.
NONE! The weight of the pennies will break the glass. I KNOW! I broke a 4 gallon VAT 69 bottle.
There is 9 pounds to a gallon of scallops most people don't want you to know that though. they weight more than water
pounds are weight. gallons are volume. you see how that doesn't add up? you have to know the weight per volume of what you're measuring in order to convert it.
Heavy! Just had to lift one with 2 other guys at work today and wanted to know the weight...thanks
Specific Gravity by 20 Degrees Centigrade 0.917-0.924 7.6 lbs/ gal
The actual weight of the aquarium itself would depend on the materials used. The rocks in the bottom would add some weight as well. If you want to know how much the water weighs. The mass (weight) of fresh water is about 8.35 pounds per gallon, so that is 459.25 pounds for the water.
In order to convert from volume to weight, we must know the density. 15w40 has a density of about .879 kilograms per liter. One gallon is about 3.785 liters. Multiplying these two numbers gets us our weight, at approximately 3.327 kilograms.
It depends entirely on the substance that you have a gallon of. It all depends on the density because a gallon is measure of volume and not weight. Weight is measured in grams, kilograms, pounds etc. To convert between volume and weight, you must know the density of the material. Some substances have a greater density and others have a smaller density. Do you have a gallon of lead or a gallon of feathers? A gallon of lead is very very heavy, and a gallon of feathers is very light.
Yes so long as you know the weight of a given liquid. For example 1 gallon of water = 8 lbs
