If the weight-loss was related to illness or weight-loss surgery then hair falling out is quite commonplace afterwards. It may also fall out slightly if you are not consuming adequate amounts of iron, or have severely cut the amount of nutrients you are consuming. If you're worried, it may be worth consulting a registered dietitian to make sure your diet is nutritionally adequate, or your GP/family doctor if your hair keeps falling out.
