If you miscarried 3.3 weeks ago and stopped bleeding after the 1st week but are now spotting a bit for 3 days and dr says period isn't due for another 1.3 weeks could it be implantation bleeding?

It's the first day of spotting/flow. I had light spotting this month & thought it was implantation bleeding. But it ended up being a very light period (and all of the PG tests were negative). If you think it might be implantation bleeding, take a HPT 6 or so days after it's done. It takes 4 full days for the embryo to implant, then another few days for the HCG to be detected in urine.
What is meant by the term implantation and where does it occur?
When the sperm has met the egg, the egg journeys through the fallopian tubes, where it travels down into the uterus. Once it arrives into the uterus, it clings onto the walls, and tries to "implant" itself into the uterine lining. This is what is known as Implantation. Implantation happens 5 to 9 days after conception. Once the egg has successfully implanted itself, the lining of the uterus sheds some blood. The blood travels down and presents itself 7 to 10 days after implantation. This is called implantation bleeding. By the time this spotting of blood reaches the outside, it has become "old" and thus looks black, brown, or dark red. Not all women have implantation bleeding. Not having it does not necessarily mean your pregnancy is doomed or that you did not conceive that cycle. Most who experience this bleeding, naturally assume it is their period visiting days earlier than scheduled. It is possible that it is implantation bleeding. It may also be af is starting early. It has happened both ways and the only way to know is wait another 7 days and either get af or take a HPT.

You took a pregnancy test on Saturday and it was positive. Can you just now be having implant bleeding on Wednesday?
No, you cannot have a positive test until about a week after implantation. Some women have a little bit of spotting during pregnancy. As long as you don't have a period and the pregnancy symptoms don't go away you should be fine. If you are worried take another test in a week or so and/or go to the doctor and ask for an ultrasound as you are spotting.
