∙ 10y agoYes, they usually do. However, you may have less as you age, so you might mistakenly blame trimming them for the loss. If you are losing eyelashes or eyebrows, then this could be a medical condition such as low thyroid hormone levels or severe stress.

∙ 12y agoWhat do you mean by cutting them like using scissors...it usually depends on how long it takes you to grow out your hair. Everyone has a different time for hair growth. I hope that helped!

Can damaged eyelashes grow?
Damaged as in ripped or singed off eyelashes do tend to grow back (as i have a problem with picking off mascara therefore sometimes taking the lashes off with it) only they will grow at a slower pace and tend to be weaker thinner and not so dark :( but they do grow :) I put mascara on and my eyelashes and they got all itchy, they do grow back but it could take up to 3 months or even 6months depending on how bad they got burned/plucked/ or whatever. It could take less time if it isn't so serious, or if plucking you don't keep doing it. Try not to rub them either. I currently have barely any eyelashes, (and they're short), but they should be back by summer time I am hoping, earlier will be great though! =)

It's probably just the way your eyelashes grow, but you could try flushing warm or got water through them. That helps me.

if you get your hair cut short, it won't necessarily grow back thicker. unfortunatley your hair grows from the roots so if you want your hair to grow back differently you may have to shave your head. it just depends on your individual hair. when i was young i had ringlets and got my hair cut really short and my hair grew back just wavy after that. it didnt change the thickness though. but you can try and it see what happens it will grow back it's just hair right?
