Soda doe snot have the nutrients that vegetables and fruits need to grow.
First you take your beans. Stick em in the ground. And put some water on em everyday.
it grows to 30 feet tall
Lima beans need to be planted in moist and warm soil in a spot with lots of sunlight. The lima bean seed germinates and then it develops nodes, stems, leaves, the more nodes will grow. Hope this helps!
You can get 8 to 10 inch pots, put gravel in the bottom and fill with potting soil. Soak your lima bean seeds overnight and plant 1 1/2 inch deep. Once they sprout, put a stake in the pot for the bean plant to climb on. Stagger your plantings so you always have lima beans.

a bean can grow in little sunlight because it will still be able to live
maybe because it can grow tho im not sure if it reproduces!:/
yes, beans will grow with/without soil..........you can put the bean with a cotton in a bottle and put it under the sun but you have to water it everyday.......
Yes it will grow
Neither! I did a science test when I was little, and it was on the sun's effect of plants. I put one Lima bean in good soil in a small milk carton and set it on the window sill in my bathroom, where it got full sun, and one under the cabinet where it got NO SUN AT ALL. to my surprise, the bean in the cabinet, with no sun, grew about 75% larger (or faster) than the bean with full sun. Try it out for yourselves, you'd be surprised!
If you put it in the ground, does it grow? Yes. Then it is alive.
A lima bean is a green podded bean like a pea. Planting a dried lima bean in moist soil will create a bush or low climbing plant that will yield thin seed pods. If the pods are picked when mature, and opened (shelled), the nascent beans will be found inside. These can be dried to produce the familiar beans. To start a seedling, all that is required is moisture. Placing a dried bean on a wet ball of cotton (kept in a wet or moist state) will produce a sprout within a few days. This can be transplanted to soil.
