ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL WITH MEDICAL QUESTIONS, DO NOT TRUST INTERNET ANSWERS WITH YOUR LIFE. Asthma may kill you if not enough oxygen is exchanged in your lungs. Very generic question. NF can lead to complications which cause death, but usually, a person can suffer from NF and live a normal healthy life. If complications arise and aren't dealt with, then there is a slim possibility. If you have NF, don't worry yourself at all. It is extremely likely you will live a normal expected life span.
no, because asthma is a disorder in the airways, not the lungs in the first place. when triggered by an irritant, what happens is your windpipe narrows down, and mucus clogs it, causing breathing difficulties, and then an asthma attack. asthma has nothing to do with the lungs - they will still be perfectly normal.
I am an asthma pt and was born and raised in Las Vegas and moved to Sacramento, CA back in 2000 and I never had as many asthma issues living in Las Vegas than I do living here in Sacramento. I think due to the dry air and heat in Las Vegas it doesn't affect your asthma that bad. On a personal note I would rather live in Las Vegas' 115 degree weather and not suffer from my asthma than live where i do now.
You need to find a group of people that understand you. If you have friends to stand by you, you can always live a normal life.
It depends on the cat. We have an asthmatic cat that gets steroid shots every month for her asthma and she's almost 11 years old. She's in otherwise good health and will probably live several more years.
