The firing order is 1342. No. 1 cylinder is on the left side of the engine as you are facing it from the front of the car. 234 are next in order. The order on the coil for the plug wires is 1 on the right front. 2 on the right back. 3 on the left back and 4 on the left front.

Chase the sparkplug wires back to the coil pack. Depending on the size of engine is going to determine how many wires there will be. Keep in mind where you unplug the wires from the new wires will need to go back the exact same way to keep the firing order the same.
as you are looking at the engine the distributor is on the right of the engine the order is as follows 1,4,3,2 and it starts at the back and works forward

You've got the wires in the wrong order. Firing order is 15426378 Distributor rotation is counter clockwise # 1 is passenger front cylinder
it could be the firing order if u had it tuned up lately check the spark plug wires 2 see if the firing order is right.if that is not it then it could be the timing, which can usually be fixed easy by turning the distributor a little bit.
