What's done is done, unless you honestly think you can make a difference to the situation. What kind of outcome do you expect if you express your concerns? Is it worth it? How much does this matter to both you and your classmates that the issue should be raised?
Valedictorian refers to somebody like the senior member of a graduating class, or their farewell words.
To earn, or to deserve.
worthy!
Being valedictorian is an achievement that showcases academic excellence, dedication, and hard work throughout high school. It can open doors to opportunities such as college acceptances, scholarships, and future career prospects. Additionally, it's a chance to inspire and motivate peers through a commencement speech at graduation.
"Your Honor, my client does not deserve the sentence for ambulate."
Nothing - didnt deserve it.
The highest GPA for a college or university is often referred to as Summa Cum Laude. Depending on the university, this honor is given to a select group of students who have either the top highest 5% of GPA's for their class, or sometimes universities have fixed numbers such as a 3.90 GPA or higher in order to receive this honor.
it's good to honor veterans because they have given lives for our country to have peace. they deserve to have our respect.
A maiden of honor is simply an unmarried bridesmaid or a girl who helps at the wedding similar to a maid of honor. Matron of honor is a married Maid of honor.
Cum laude means 'with honor', magna cum laude is 'with high honor', and summa cum laude means 'with the greatest honor'. These designations are granted to every graduate who meets a required grade-point average, so several students in a class, or even an entire class, could graduate cum laude, magna cum laude, or summa cum laude. The valedictorian is the student with the highest academic rank in the class, so you would expect he would at least be a cum laude graduate. But if you have a class where no one has over a B average, there will still be a valedictorian but he will not be graduated with honors.
Most Americans honor veterans because the soldiers died in war and the veterans are alive to tell the great story of a fallen comrade and also because we love them. we should honor veterans because they have done so much for us like saved us, risked their lives, and gave us the freedom we have to day. They have done so much they at least deserve our honor. They deserve a lot more then honor because they left everyone they care about to save their country.
It appears to be a misspelling of salutatorian. From Wikipedia: Salutatorian is an academic title given, in the Philippines, United States and Canada, to the second highest graduate of the entire graduating class of an educational institution. Only the valedictorian is ranked higher. This honor is traditionally based on grade point average (GPA) and number of credits taken, but consideration may also be given to other factors such as extracurricular activities. The title comes from the salutatorian's traditional role as the first speaker at a graduation ceremony, delivering the salutation (where the valedictorian, on the other hand, speaks last, delivering the valediction).[1] Looks like the misspelling came from a combination of the words valedictorian and salutatorian, which are pronounced similarly.
