£10 approx dependent on the price of a liter at the time
From Cardiff to Glasgow is some 400 miles and would cost about £75 in petrol.
It depends on the cost of said petrol and the efficiency of the vehicle in "miles per unit of petrol". You didn't supply enough information.
The amount of petrol needed to travel for one hour depends on the vehicle's fuel efficiency and speed. For instance, if a car travels at 60 miles per hour and has a fuel efficiency of 30 miles per gallon, it would consume about 2 gallons of petrol in one hour. Therefore, the specific amount of petrol required varies based on the vehicle's performance and the driving conditions.
It would cost (2.4) times (the cost of one gallon petrol). Also, add cost of tolls, food, etc.
Depending on driving conditions - about 2.5 gallons.
None, if you cycle! If you drive, it depends on the fuel efficiency of your vehicle and your driving style.
Naturally, it wouldn't. Otherwise, that trailer would never be able to leave the customer's facility once it was unloaded.
Petrol is refined from crude oil. So the source would be a refinery.

if petrol was in short supply then emergancy services would be the vehicle that needed it most eg the police, ambulance and fire brigade
Petrol is called Gasoline in the USA.
If the world did run out of petrol, I would happily take the train as there will still be electricity going. On the road, there would probably be many more alternative fuel vehicles than there are now, and I wish all those involved in this science well. As for long distance travel, I would be willing to take a ship around the Mediterranean or across the Atlantic instead of an aeroplane!
