They don't buy routers.
The router SHOULD be have enough of "frequency distance" to be able to reach the Xbox - if you're using a Xbox router of course. If it's STILL too far from the Xbox, and the Xbox router can't pickup the internet router, you're going to have to move the router or the Xbox itself closer to one of the other.
A cable or dsl router is needed. Unless you want to go wireless. Which requires the same router but, a wireless one. Also your xbox, presuming its a 360 will need a wireless adapter which is $99 at gamestop/eb games, and I believe wal-mart sells them as well.
$30
Check your family settings or internet connection. Try plugging in a ethernet cable to your router and Xbox.. That should connect you to the internet and Xbox Live.
There is no router on a Xbox 360, You have to connect a router to the back near the top.
Not very much Glyde sells them for $17.50 in excellent condition and Gamestop would pay not pay over half what they sell for on Glyde
$199.99
The Xbox 360 has no built in WiFi adapter. Without it, the system would have no way to connect to a router to play over Xbox Live, without using a cable. The router is required to access the internet.
You can use any cat 5 ethernet cable to connect the xbox 360 to the router.
the wire you would be looking for is a cat 5 cable this is what connects the xbox to the router or modem
Your router WILL need to be wireless to connect wirelessly to your Xbox, but you can use an ethernet cable if your router is not wireless, straight from the router to the XBOX
£10 because its old and boring
