If you want to do a sewn in full hair weave on natural hair that is not relaxed in what direction should the cornrows go and is a closure needed for the top of the head?

Hello While doing a weave there is no particular direction the hair should be cornrowed as long as the hair all gathers at the top(crown). The cornrows are just used as a foundation to sew the hair on to. This process is really difficult to understand in writing it would take someone to actually show you this procedure face to face.
