If you want to fade your pants lightly you need very little bleach solution. If using 50 percent bleach you need about a tablespoon of bleach per 2 gallons of water.
You cannot. The best you can do is dye them.
You don't! Bleach is not a stain, but the removal of all color. So you dye them black again, but the bleache part may be lighter. Maybe dye the spot several times.
Just wash them only with like colors in cold water, without any type of bleach, and if you have to, dye them again on occasion to make up for the fading.
Ammonia and Bleach create Chlorine gas. Which causes respiratory damage that will lead to death if enough is inhaled. Oh and it's painful. Warning to all who like to clean the toilet by letting a bit of bleach soak in it: Make these restrooms off limits to the kids, or better yet, wait until after they are asleep. My son urinated in the toilet after I had left bleach in it to soak. He came running out with his pants down to escape the odor. Urine has just enough ammonia in it apparently to create a mini "mustard gas" reaction.
You may use bleach on white clothes to ensure their whiteness. It is not necessary though. Best for specific stains and wash in hot water with other whites only. I do not agree with the above answer! I had two sons taking karate lessons, and those uniforms were all white 100% cotton pants and shirts. I could not get those uniforms clean! I had grown up believing that Chlorox bleach was the only bleach to use, but that stuff did NOT get those white uniforms clean! In fact, they came out of the washer looking very yellowed! I asked someone else, who also had two sons in sports, and she told me about Biz bleach. The difference was like night and day! When I rewashed the uniforms using Biz, they came out of the washer white and bright--just like the day I bought them! When I began to inquire about the differences between Chlorox and Biz, I learned that Chlorox is a chlorine bleach, and Biz is a non-chlorine bleach. You should never use chlorine bleach in your laundry. It's great for other cleaning jobs, but not laundry. Biz is great for all your laundry, including colors. It really does do what the box tells you it does.
Pour some bleach in a spray bottle (or somthing that can hold bleach) and mix it with water and spray on your pants wait till they start to bleach and put them in the washer and you can dry them if you want

To make pants half white you can easily bleach the side of the pants you wish to be white.
You cannot. The best you can do is dye them.
No. If you drink bleach you will die. Part of the urinalysis test is that you can urinate in a cup. When you die, you urinate in your pants.

wash i cold water and DO NOT DRY!!! Spread pants on table or flat surface.
Mostly lightly, but bring along long pants and a jacket.
Track pants, which are generally made with nylon, are best washed on a cold water cycle, separate from the rest of your non-nylon clothing. Normal detergents should work, but be sure to use non-chlorine bleach if bleach is necessary. To dry your track pants, either air dry them, or place them on the lowest level in the dryer.
