In September of 2004 I started doing a buns video and lifting 5 lb weights 4 days a week. In 5 months I had lost only 7 lbs (I was 122) but I lost 5 sizes(from a size 8 to a size 3). Then I started doing cardio and lost another 5 lbs. and 3 sizes. If you were smart you would start off doing both. Lift weights Monday, Wednesday, and friday. Walk Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Take a break on sunday. If I had done that I would have lost weight faster. Don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat, so between a good diet (Weight Watchers or the South Beach Diet) and weight training you could be lean and mean even though your body weight may be 10 lbs., or a little more (that's muscle only.)
How much you lose will depend upon the intensity and type of exercise you do along with your diet, physical size and condition and age before you start a program. You could even see weight gain because you might be not just losing fat but building muscle.
According to a Mayo Clinic article, diet has more of an effect on weight loss and exercise has more of an effect on preventing regaining weight after weight loss. So both are important in weight-loss and weight-maintenance programs.
With no other adjustments to life style, a person weighing 160 lbs would use about 600 calories if they ran at 5 miles per hour for an hour. For 7 days, that would be 4200 calories. The thinking has been that to lose a pound of fat, you have to burn off 3500 calories, so that could mean a loss of 1.2 pounds of fat in one week.
2 lbs.
Depends on how many limbs you are willing to part with.
That depends on what you do when you get to the gym. If you do nothing then you will remain at more or less the same weight you are now.
depends on your weight and metabolism....but are you talking about fasting as in not eating from sunrise to sunset or not eating at all..people can die from not eating for 2 weeks
Eating only 500 calories twice per week would be extremely dangerous . Do NOT diet without consulting a doctor.
I think 2 killo maybe will you lose. But if you want to lose more You must follow a diet and eat some natural weight loss products, such as this one.cutt.ly/dhCvvnF

Yes, it is possible to lose weight without being on a diet. To lose weight, you must use more calories then you consume, generally 500 calories to lose 2 pounds a week. Staying active will burn more calories.
Sorry- no magic food or diet will make you lose weight. calories of ANYTHING eaten must be less than calories burned to lose weight.
On a zero calorie foods diet, you will definitely lose weight, but it is not healthy for you. The reason you will lose weight is because you are not eating foods with calories in them. You need calories in your diet so you will have energy during the day to carry out your activities. If you want to diet, eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, not just foods that have no calories in them.
Limiting yourself to 1,200 calories is more the type of diet you would go on to lose a required or desired amout of weight. Any time you cut calories and increase physical activity you are going to lose weight, however you NEED calories to stay healty so always follow professional advice.
It can often be difficult to find a great lose weight fast diet. However, by learning to follow some simple strategies and concepts, it should be possible to lose weight with your diet in no time at all. The most important aspect to consider when losing weight is the calories that you take in from your diet versus the calories you burn during exercise and everyday normal activities. In order to lose weight you must burn more calories then you take in. Never make the common mistake of starving your body, since it will cause it to go into survival mode and store all calories as fat.
It won't help you lose weight, only to make your diet healthier. Exercise does that. Raw celery is negative calories and can help you lose weight.
Usually not. Usually when people go on a diet it's because they want to lose weight. And losing weight means cutting back on the amount of calories you eat and drink. Alcohol contains a lot of calories, so drinking alcohol while you try to lose weight will make it harder, maybe even impossible to lose weight.
The number of calories you should take in on a diet will depend on your weight and activity level. A low calorie diet (within reason) is the easiest way to lose weight, since weight loss depends on burning more calories than you take in.
Well, one of the best ways to have a healthy diet to lose weight is to reduce the amount of calories you are eating. All bodies are different, so the amount of calories that you need to reduce are going to be different from another persons. You could also be more active, like increasing your levels of activities. You also need to exercise at least twice a day.
* yes about 5 pounds This is wrong. There are 3500 calories in a pound. You must "lose" 3500 calories through diet or exercise to lose 1 pound. It would take a reduction of 17,500 calories to lose 5 pounds.
Yes, you can lose weight on the raw food diet plan because the food is usually low in fat, calories, and is unprocessed. These foods are easier for your body to digest.
* Some people say you can lose up to 3 pounds each day.* If you have even the slightest degree of insulin resistance (and many overweight people have without being aware of it) you will gain weight (not lose weight) on a rice diet. * Rice is high in carbohydrate. If I went on a rice diet (and I am a natural vegetarian) I would gain weight.
