If they are confident enough to break it off, they are confident enough to tell you they want you back, so scrub that possibility pronto. Anecdotal experience suggests to me that they probably enjoy sleeping with you, and by admitting to having feelings for you are trying to manipulate you into obliging them. If you go along with it, expect to hear an 'I don't know, I'm so confused'. Making a 'fun buddy' out of an ex who dumped you is a VERY bad idea. To any dumpee I would recommend cutting off all contact ASAP. They dumped you, they can find a booty call elsewhere
