im 12 and weigh 120.5lbs so just add about 15lbs onto my weight n i would weigh the same as you plus i weighed that much 2yrs ago, it basically all depends on your height.

I found out the BMI is 28.3, which means a female that is 5'5 and weighs 170 LBS is overweight, so 170 LBS is not a good weight. I strongly disagree! I have been that weight for a long time and I am size 8. I am also very healthy, work out regularly and happy. I think some of the guidelines do not fit everyone. We are all different. When I was 125 lbs ( my so called ideal weight for my height...lol) I was too thin, my face was sunken in and I looked sick. I looked starved and not very healthy. Instead of getting compliments I was asked if I was sick!! So of us look and feel better with some weight and we can be just as healthy!! =) So I would answer "NO" you are not over weight.
