You can anonymously report messages by clicking on the "Report Message" link under the the name and picture of the sender when viewing a message. Facebook will review your complaint and will act to ensure all users comply with our Terms of Use so that Facebook remains a trusted environment where people can interact safely.
You can easily block any user on Facebook from seeing or contacting you by entering their name in the Block People section on the Privacy page.
You can limit the people who can find you in searches, which in turn limits who can message you. You can also prevent people from messaging you from your search listing. Both options are available on the Search Privacy page
When receiving unknown text messages, it is important to exercise caution. Avoid clicking on any links or providing personal information. Consider blocking the number if the messages are unwanted or suspicious. If the messages are threatening or harassing, report them to your phone carrier or local authorities.
It is easy for people to get behind on their Facebook messages. The best way to stay on top of the messages is to check them often. They should probably be checked two to three times a day. If not that often, at least daily.
To completely delete messages, you have to delete them one at a time in the archives. There is a site called fbsweeper that will delete them for you all at once. It is much easier than doing it on facebook.
You give them your mobile no. and allow your phone to take sms messages. then ask them to send a confirmation code. get the code, copy it, and it should work
From my account it is working. I think you should give a try again after 2-3 days. Hope it will work.
If you completely deleted the messages, from the message box, you cannot retrieve your messages. If you cleared the messages from the chat box, you can go to your messages at the top of your fb page and click on MESSAGES, and your messages should still be there.

an inbox on facebook is where people can email you messages that only you can see. After you receive their message and read it, you may also reply to it.
the blue caution triangle with an exclamation mark, next to the persons name means that there were messages that did not send and to get rid of the blue triangle you can either send the messages or delete them. the messages that did not send should have a red circle with an exclamation mark next to it.
maybe you should go on your phone and log out of Facebook via. And then use a desktop or laptop computer and get on your facebook and see what happens. Or maybe it's a scrue up with your phone.

There is a little gray X in the top right corner of the post that shows up when highlighted. Click this and it should remove the post/message.
