The lines are probably a special size. You may have to go to the dealer to get the correct size.

From my research you will need a 5/16 line compression removal tool. Slide tool around male end on filter and slide into compression fitting, squeeze and push towards fitting to remove. I'll let you know more after I finish replacing my filter today. Going to auto parts store to pick up my cline compression tool now!
