Utopia means a perfect society; nothing bad but to cancel out the good. The noun utopia is an imaginary place or a state of mind, a thing.
An imaginary place where everything is perfect is usually referred to as "Utopia".
It would be wrong to say Africa is a bad place to be. Africa is a massive continent with over 50 countries. Like any continent, there are good and bad parts, and there are good things about it and bad things about it.
I do not think that Bagdad is a bad place. Bagdad is only known for some of the bad things about it, but I'm sure that it's not completely bad.

no America is the best place to live in the world, it's better than Australia, UK, anywhere in Europe or Asia and south America. So says the American.... But its not a bad place.
