he said treat people as an ends. I think he means ends as an individual, but I disagree I think we should treat everyone as if they are fragments of a whole, but the problem is not everybody realizes we are a whole as we are pretty alienated.

Kant said that we should treat people as end unto themselves, and not as a means to an end. For example, a child becomes friends with somebody in their neighborhood once they find out that person has a swimming pool. They did not befriend that person because they like that person, they only want access to the pool. Hence, they are treating the new "friend" as a means to an end, not at an end unto themselves.
