Monoclonal antibodies are commonly used to fight a large number of diseases including cancer. The monoclonal antibodies fight the disease by targeting a certain antigen and recruiting the body's natural immune system to destroy the antigen-infected cells.
You can probably treat or cure the cancer by using the modern technology. The treatment is expensive but possible. What you have to do is to go for DNA finger printing of the normal as well as the cancer cells. Here you will find one or more abnormal genes in the cancer cells. You have to insert them in the chromosomes of the bacteria. You have to get the colony of the same bacteria. Then you have to get the proteins translated from the defective genes. The proteins have to be isolated. The same proteins are to be injected to the horse on day 1, 7 and 21. You have to collect the antibodies of the proteins, after say two months, from the blood of the horse. You may get the added effects by attaching one molecule of heavy metal to one molecule of the antibody. Then you inject the antibodies to the patient. The antibodies will attack the cancer cells only. As a effect, only cancer cells will be selectively killed. The patient will be cured of cancer.
It is called the adaptive defense and consists of antibodies and lymphocytes, often called the humoral response.
It's always more dangerous fro ppl with a decresead immune system. if you are going through chemotherapy that works so it kills the cancercells but it also kills your immunesystem.
It is possible. Smoking does not automatically lead to cancer or heart attack. Smoking may increase you chances of suffering cancer or heart attack
heart attack and cancer..... heart attack bcuz wen v c dis kind of whether v get heart attack and cancer i donno
Yes, Herceptin is a drug used in certain form of breast cancer which overexpresses the HER-2 protein, enabling angiogenesis and rapid tumour growth. Herceptin is the trade name for monoclonal antibodies against the HER-2 receptor which block these, limiting their function and improving patient prognosis. There are other examples to, monoclonal antibodies against IgE antibody to prevent type 1 hypersentivity e.g. peanut allergy.
Antibodies are made in the lab through a process called hybridoma technology. This involves fusing a specific type of immune cell with a cancer cell to create a hybrid cell that can produce antibodies. These antibodies can then be harvested and used for various purposes, such as in diagnostic tests or as treatments for diseases.
pre-cancer is one that can attack cells must be treated.
White blood cells produce antibodies that can be used to target specific proteins on cancer cells. By fusing a white blood cell with a cancer cell, a hybridoma is created that combines the antibody-producing ability of the white blood cell with the cancer cell's ability to replicate indefinitely. This creates a cell line that can produce large quantities of a specific antibody for various medical purposes, such as cancer treatment.
Monoclonal antibodies are made by fusing a specific type of immune cell called a B cell with a cancer cell to create a hybrid cell called a hybridoma. The hybridoma cell then produces identical antibodies that can target a specific antigen. These antibodies are then harvested and purified for use in various medical treatments and research.
As far as I am aware, there is no link between cancer and heart attacks.
