No. I have no clue who he is and i know every character in lord of the rings and the actors.
Aragorn came from Rivendell to wait for Frodo, and Lord Elrond give him instructions where to go. The Elves know what's happening because they have telepathic powers, or from the Palantir.
Elrond Half-elven, who has one of the Three Rings (in particular, Vilya, mightiest of the Three) and has been an inveterate foe of Sauron for over three thousand years.) It is possible that Aragorn might also live in Rivendell inasmuch as he lives anywhere-he certainly lived in Rivendell until he was twenty. But it is nowhere explicit in Tolkien that he does live there.
Your question could be interpreted two ways. Viggo Mortensen is the actor whom portrays Strider in the Lord of the Rings motion pictures - Strider is the alias used by Aragorn, son of Arathorn and heir to the throne of Gondor when he is traveling as a Ranger of the North. He is also known as Estel to the Elves. Strider is a name given to Aragorn by men who know only his legend and not who he really is. Aragorn is a decedant of numenor; the island in which all of mankind in LOTR lived on until their ambition drove them away from the island. This explains his prolonged life, as the men of numenor lived well into their 300th years. (Aragorn is roughly 85 in the time that the LOTR trilogy takes place)
i have to do Sterotypes on Lord of the Rings for my homework and all i can think of is that hobbits are know to love eating and drinking
you should know by now
I don't know all of them but I know lord of the rings, the hobbit, and the simerilion
Yes. 'The Lord of the Rings' along with the other Tolkien writing related to Middle-earth are a legend (or legendarium), and, collectively, it is also know as mythology or fantasy.
This is the age where the fellowship of the ring ends. I know because i have a book that has all the facts about what happen after the third and and last movie. Aragorn name is changed to Ellesar and he becomes lord of the land. Merry and Pippin are now noble warriors for Gondor and Rohan. Sam becomes mayor of the Shire 7 times. At the end Aragorn dies and he is lain next to Lord Pippin and Merry. Legolas built a big grey ship in Ithilien and sailed to the end of the sea, and also Gimli the dwarf goes with him. And when that ship passed the edge of the sea, an end was come to the fellowhip of the ring.
I don't know that is what i was trying to find out
Could you be asking about Gyges from Plato's 'Republic' who is very similar to the ring-bearer? If you find out let me know because I can't think of any! However, here's a GUESS that kinda sorta maybe works: Aragorn. The legend of Atlantis first appears in the writings of Plato. Numenor, another land where people had a great society that was overcome by the sea, is clearly based on Atlantis, so Aragorn, the Nuenorean we get to know best, might have a Plato connection.
