Yes, there was still a lot of discrimination against them. They could vote but in some states they would have to pay to vote or they would have to take un almost unpassable test. There was also the KKK which killed many black people. Blacks had a hard time finding jobs which meant little income. Laws were passed later on to lessen the discrimination but it didn't stop and there still is some discrimination today.
