Any state can invoke a suspended sentence for any new crime committed.

Sounds like another legal description of Petit Larceny or Misdemeanor Shoplifting. It is a misdemeanor offense punishable by either a fine or jail sentence not exceeding one year.

The simple answer is you don't, and it will not matter regardless. If while on parole you are charged with another felony, your parole will be violated, and you will be returned to prison.
