There exists but one way to truly deal with cultural tolerance: education. Cultural intolerance develops from cultural ignorance and it becomes a problem whence people begin to associate cultural differences with a fear of the unknown. This fear of the unknown leads to hatred, discrimination, and inequalities. By educating oneself on cultural differences with an enthusiastic perception of cultures different from one's own culture, tolerance will appear. If we are lucky, this intolerance will not be replaced with a cultural tolerance, but rather a cultural appreciation. One may also practice humility, understanding, and compassion along the way.
