Once in Australia, Santa (or Father Christmas) is assisted by six white boomers, which are large, male kangaroos (according to a Rolf Harris song). They help pull along the sleigh in the hot, dusty outback, as the reindeer are just not up to the climate difference. The reindeer take a short rest during Santa's Australian run.
